These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Saturlab SASfor your use of the JointReset website, current mobile app, and related content and features (together, the "Services").
Today, the JointReset app experience is available on iPhone. If we later release an Android or other official mobile version, these Terms will also apply to that version unless we publish platform-specific terms that say otherwise.
1. Acceptance of these Terms and eligibility
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age required to do so in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
1.1 Changes to the Services or the Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time, including to reflect product changes, feature launches, legal requirements, or security needs. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
2. What JointReset is, and what it is not
JointReset provides educational wellness, recovery, and movement guidance. The Services are designed to help users assess recurring tendon and joint pain patterns, organize relevant context, and follow structured, focused exercise guidance.
The Services are not:
- a medical device;
- a diagnostic service;
- medical advice, treatment, or a prescription;
- a substitute for licensed professional evaluation or care.
2.1 Safety boundaries
You should not rely on JointReset when serious warning signs are present. Recent trauma, inability to bear weight, severe swelling, unexplained weight loss, numbness, night pain, or rapidly worsening symptoms are examples of situations that should prompt professional evaluation.
You remain responsible for deciding whether any activity, exercise, or suggestion is appropriate for you. Stop and seek professional care if symptoms worsen, feel severe, become unexplained, or otherwise raise concern.
2.2 Availability and feature limitations
Some features may depend on device compatibility, platform permissions, app-store availability, third-party provider access, or future product rollout decisions. We do not guarantee that every feature described on the website will remain available at all times or in the same form on every platform.
3. Limited license and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own lawful, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law expressly allows it;
- copy, reproduce, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services or their content without permission;
- use the Services to create harmful, unlawful, infringing, or misleading material;
- scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the Services or connected infrastructure;
- misuse exported or generated content in a way that violates law or third-party rights;
- circumvent subscription, entitlement, security, or access controls.
3.1 Accounts, credentials, and device setup
Certain features may require you to configure device permissions, AI provider settings, or subscription access. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, the security of your device, and your use of any credentials you configure in the app.
4. Subscriptions, trials, billing, and platform store terms
JointReset may offer a free trial period and one or more recurring paid subscription plans. The current product is designed around a 7-day trial structure followed by paid access for certain premium features, but we may change plans, durations, or feature access over time.
4.1 Store billing and renewals
If you purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store, billing, renewals, cancellations, purchase restoration, and available refund workflows are handled through Apple's systems and policies. If we later offer subscriptions through Google Play or another authorized platform store, the equivalent store provider will handle those platform billing flows under its own rules. We do not control third-party billing platforms and do not promise that any particular refund will be issued.
Unless otherwise stated in the app storefront, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You are responsible for reviewing the active subscription terms presented in the relevant app storefront at the time of purchase.
4.2 Pricing and feature access
The website may describe the structure of the service without listing a fixed public price. Any actual subscription price, currency, billing frequency, taxes, or regional differences shown in the relevant app store or in-app purchase flow control the transaction.
4.3 Platform store relationship
If you access the app through Apple's App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent applicable. Your use of the app may also be subject to Apple's platform terms, App Store rules, and device policies.
If we later distribute the app through Google Play or another platform store, the equivalent store operator and platform rules may also apply to your use of that version.
5. AI-assisted features, third-party services, and user content
5.1 AI features
The Services may provide AI-assisted outputs such as program generation, summaries, and optional video or form-feedback guidance. AI-generated outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for your circumstances. They are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Depending on the feature and configuration available at the time, AI processing may use:
- provider credentials that you configure yourself; or
- provider access configured or enabled by JointReset.
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs critically, using judgment, and seeking professional evaluation when needed. Do not rely on the Services for emergency or urgent health situations.
5.2 Third-party content and services
The Services may link to or integrate with Apple, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, YouTube, device sharing tools, or other third-party services. Those services are operated independently and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
5.3 Your content and exports
As between you and us, you retain rights in the information and materials you submit or create in the app, subject to any rights of third-party providers or platforms involved in processing them. You grant us only the limited rights reasonably necessary to operate the Services you request, such as generating outputs, creating exports, or enabling a selected integration.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the information and media you submit, export, or share.
6. Intellectual property
JointReset, Saturlab, the website and app design, branding, text, software, visual assets, and related materials are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Services.
7. Disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and termination
7.1 Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, safe for every use case, or suitable for your personal health circumstances.
7.2 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saturlab SAS and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us, if any, for the relevant paid subscription during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory law.
7.3 Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saturlab SASfrom claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
7.4 Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Services if reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, legal compliance requirements, payment failures, or material violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
8. Governing law and contact information
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence apply.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with jurisdiction under applicable French law and mandatory consumer law will have authority to hear the dispute.
